Our Saviour Parish Mission Statement

Loved and called by God, we the members of Our Saviour Parish, Jacksonville, Illinois, are followers of Jesus Christ, committed to live our faith in the Roman Catholic tradition. Through Baptism, we share the responsibility of continuing the mission of Jesus on earth.

Our mission is to proclaim the Word, to administer the sacraments, to serve through good works those in any kind of need, to foster Catholic education for children and adults, to welcome all people to our worship, to evangelize our faith in the Jacksonville community and to live the joy of Easter with the courage of Pentecost.

With the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we will strive to make Christ more visible in our community and in our world through worship, proclamation of the Word, and service to all God's people, making this parish a place that all who love God can call home.
