A weekend retreat which provides a living understanding of basic Christian truths and a desire to serve the Church. This three day experience is a powerful instrument of renewal in the Church, concentrating closely on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ. Weekends are offered six times during the year. One day opportunities for high school youth(all day on a Sunday) and junior high youth (all day on a Saturday) to experience fun and develop friendships with other youth of our diocese. The day consists of a keynote address, break-out sessions (geared toward issues that youth face today), Mass with the Biship, pizza and a dance. The cost is usually $20.00 (does not include transportation). The Youth Days are held in various parishes in the diocese. For futher informatiion contact Sr. Cecilianne at 245-7633 |

At TEC teens experience that they are not alone during the time of moving into adult life. In the three day weekedn, they experience being part of a vibrant, loving, and supportive faith community in with the friendship of Jesus Christ becomes real. TEC is a very human experience. Team members of adults and youth entrust to the participants some of the struggles, joys, and feelings they have experienced in their own lives. TEC weekends begin on Saturday morning at 9:30am and end around 6:00 pm on Monday. The cost is $60.00 (scholarship money is available).
